5. The noblest art is that of making others happy. It's been approximately a month since I saw The Greatest Showman in theaters for the first time. Since then, I watched it two more times, dragging my husband and cousin with me the second and third times. Almost a month later and I am still buzzing about this film. It's magical, it's inspiring, and it's just plain fun. The film ends with a quote, this quote: The noblest art is that of making others happy. A quote said by none other than P.T. Barnum himself. Not only does this quote inspire us to remember what life is really about, but it wraps up the film very nicely. I would be surprised if there was someone who did not leave the theater either clapping, or at the very least smiling from ear to ear. 4. We can live in a world that we design. One of the more popular songs in The Greatest Showman is called A Million Dreams and is sung by the young P.T. Barnum. Since I've had the soundtrack on repeat for weeks now, I've had a chance to really listen to the lyrics of each song. I love this song because it's sung by a child and all the wonderful dreams he has, hence the name of the song. I love this specific lyric because it's simple, but powerful. We have the power to design our own world. When I think about that, I am so inspired. 3. No one ever made a difference by being like everyone else. I love this quote because not only does it fit the message and storyline of the film, but it's a quote we need to hear more often, especially today when bullying is so relevant. Each character has a story, or an act, in this case, that makes them different. Sometimes we forget that we are all unique and it's okay to step outside the box. 2. So trade that typical for something colorful. One of my favorite songs from The Greatest Showman is The Other Side. In a scene where Barnum is trying to convince Phillip Carlyle, portrayed by Zac Efron, to be his business partner. He describes a life of fun and excitement, very different from Carlyle's boring and predictable life. Barnum persuades him to trade his typical life for something more colorful. I can relate to this so much that it would be crazy for me to not include it. 1. Men suffer more from imagining too little than too much.
About halfway through the film, Barnum has expanded his circus and is getting quite popular. Unfortunately, with fame comes press, both good and bad. In this case, the reporter publishes a not so flattering article about Barnum and his crazy acts. When Barnum comes face to face with the reporter, he says, "Men suffer more from imagining too little than too much". This stuck with me from the very first time I heard it. It might even be my favorite quote of all time. Actually, it is my favorite quote of all time.

this is amazing im trying to start an anti bullying program within my scholl and I needed a slogan I was going to use from now on meaning that though we may have forgotten or at least neglected bullying in the past feeling as though there were other things to worry of we come now together saying from now on you will never be alone there will always be someone walking by your side even when you don't know it. we are giving you a program where you can share what your thinking and how you feel in a world where sometimes that does not matter anymore we are saying from now on we got your let that promise be restart like an anthem in your heart.
